About Brandon

I have lived in the Atlanta area for the majority of my life. I actually started a passion for photography in high school. From high school I received a photography scholarship to study Photographic Arts at Andrew College. I studied under Joe Maher, a photojournalist and AP photographer. There at Andrew College, I was a part of many gallery shows including an Exit Show for myself. After graduating with an AA in Photographic Arts at Andrew, I continued my education at the University of Georgia. While at Georgia, I changed my major from Photography to Art Education with the ambition to teach photography to others. My focus was still photography and the history of photography. While at UGA, my work was used as the advertisement image for the 16th Annual Photo Show. I was also a part of the Senior Art Educators Exit Show. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a BFA in Art Education, I started teaching at a local high school in Marietta. As of now, I teach film (Video Production) classes and art. I am also the sponsor of our Photography Club.

In 2007, I started back into photography. I realized that my passion for photography had been missed and it was time to refocus on something that I truly love. While my primary career is still teaching students how to visualize the world, I have started back into working on photographic arts, photojournalism assignments, and advertising photography. I have produced work for a variety of clients.

I am now shooting only in the digital format using Nikon’s Digital SLR D-200 as my primary camera body. I have previously worked with Nikon 8008’s, N90s, F5, Pentex K1000 (backpacker's camera), and Large format 4x5 cameras. The majority of the work on this site is from the Nikon D200.

Please note – I am trying to keep the images on this website strictly images produced currently and in the digital format. I do have an extensive portfolio of previous work available upon request.
