Arches National Park | 2020

On my recent trip to Moab, Utah, I decided to take some time to visit Arches National Park. I remember a few years ago while in Breckenridge, Daniel, brother in law, talked about going for the day to Arches and visiting. Didn’t realize it was 4.5hrs one way. So it didn’t happen. I cannot believe it has taken me this long to venture out to Moab or Arches. It is a great reminder of all the natural beauty that this country has hidden in plain sight. Access to some just amazing natural sculptures. I highly recommend the America the Beautiful parks pass as it will hopefully push me to visit more parks this coming year. I took the tourist route and followed the map and trails trying to find the cool spots. Tried very hard not to get photos of the hundreds of other viewers who littered the landscape like ants. Even though I wish I had the place to myself, I am also reminded how great it is to see people outside and enjoying these vistas. I spent some time chatting with a few climbers at one stop and catching a few shots of their accents. I spent the entire day chasing the sun peaking out of the overcast sky until nightfall as I hiked back out to my van for a final time. Arches is Beautiful. Visit it, take care of it, love it and cherish the memories. I plan on returning. Enjoy some of the images below from the trip.
