Just wanted to say my condolences to the family of South African Rider Carla Swart. She was killed by a truck while training in South Africa. (Velonews article) From some of the articles I have read it was not the truck drivers fault, it was an accident. Swart who was only 23, just signed on with Team HTC Highroad. I was able to see her race and finish 2nd at the Sunny King Criterium this past year while riding for Team Vera Bradley. I did not know her, but can see how much of an impact her death has on Women’s Cycling. Again prayers and thoughts to the family and friends of Carla Swart.
