If you know me, or follow photography today, you then know that I think Chase Jarvis is leader and innovator for Photographic Communities. Not only does he produce great work, but he shows how he does it too. There is this growing community in photography that’s all about sharing ideas and collaborations. Some of you, like myself, have his “Best Camera” App on the iPhone. He has been in the news Recently working with a collaboration with Nikon, SanDisk, and many others. IF you don’t already FOLLOW his Blog. Its my three photography blogs I do take time to read every post. (Strobist, Zack Arias are two others) (yes there many others out there that are great)
So why should you follow Chase. Well he not only is a leader in photography, with out the ego, but he wants to share more than anything to others. TODAY You can watch a LIVE Photo shoot that he is doing for LIVE for an alt country/punk band called Brent Amaker and the Rodeo. They I think are trying to shoot an Album Cover. It will be his Seattle studio via the internet on Friday, January 29 from 10am to 6pm (PST, which is GMT -8).
Why is this cool: Because it shows the good, bad, and ugly, of photo-shoots, unedited and raw.
What makes this cooler: The Band will preform LIVE half way through the day!!

Now this is all Beta, (ultra Beta according to them) There might be problems, but it does open up a new world about how things are really done in the Photography world. DO Watch this, DO enjoy it, DO give him feed back. I would love for them to learn what works and doesn’t and then fix that so they can do this again and again.
