Cyclocross World Championships

Laura and Georgia Gould, who went on to race a strong race even after a crash in the starting laps. OH and some awkward guy in yellow.

Wow. That’s really all I can say, wow. Having the cyclocross World Championships in the US is a life time event. It was amazing. I love cyclocross, it is my new favorite form of cycling. Its quick dirty and awesome. Since both Laura and I love it so much we decided to make the trip up to Louisville for the races. Thankfully we were scheduled to be at races for both days. So when they switched the main events to Saturday due flooding we didn’t miss out. We also decided to make this a fun trip only. So I left the big cameras home. I did sneak the GoPro into my bag though. That video is posted on the Facebook page. I missed not having the big cameras and running around with the intent of capturing every moment while wearing the cool photo vest. However, spending time with my wife and enjoying the race a spectator for once was more important to us. Here are a few photos from the event from the Iphone.

Laura and I at the Limestone steps, no one was going to be riding up these stairs today, not even Jeremy Powers.
