BRANDON- A lot to know about me, my background defines how I look at design and photography. Mountains are my home, just breathing the air and taking in the views. Ride bikes as much as I can, but never enough, Cyclocross, Mountain bikes and Bike Polo, yes it is a thing. When snow hits the ground I work Ski Patrol at Breckenridge as an Accident Investigator. My instagram, @bdandrewsphoto, combines riding bike selfies, Skiing, family life, photography and random moments of my life. Currently navigating the world of being a new dad with a son born this Spring of 2023.
I have an Associates of Arts Degree in Photographic Arts and BFA in Art Education. I spent 9+ years teaching at a High School located in Metro Atlanta teaching Art, Film/Broadcast and Photography. Then changed direction to outdoor retail design. Worked with Trek Bicycle as the Lead Store Designer for 6+ years. My roles were vast at Trek, so it gave me a good understanding of all parts to the complex machine of retail. I have a hands on approach, and learn from being involved. Love to teach, design, create and explore.
After leaving Trek I took on a personal objective to be closer to the mountains and fulfill a life long dream of being on Ski Patrol. Handling medical emergencies, documenting incidents and maintaining mountain slope safety with avalanche prevention techniques has given me new insight in the hard work that goes into preparing a mountain for guests. Summers I transition and join the high voltage electrical team over both Keystone and Breckenridge. Both of these positions allow me to continue to design and consult for retail spaces in my spare time. While photography is not as a pivotal role in the business as it once was, I still am available for photography work. CARRIE – My business partner and life partner. Carrie and I met here in Colorado even though we are both from the same high school in Georgia. Carrie supports the business as a guide in all things running a business. She has her own company that takes up most of her time, but she will sometimes join on scouting trips or store visits to give her unique perspective on retail.
AMOS – Covid Puppy that stole Carrie’s heart first. He now keeps me company when I am working on designs or editing photos. Still working on coming with us on mountain bike rides. Fat bike snow rides are fun, but really he prefers us cross country skiing. Follow him on Instagram: @amos_onthesummit
My original boy, obviously named after the cycling parts company from Japan. Oh and he is a PUG. Sadly Shimano passed away in 2022. He was a huge supporter of the process and even stood in as a model many times. See his posts on instagram @shimanothepug ! I miss you Shimano
